Escoffier Exclusive Room Hire – October 2023 to June 7th, 2024

Thank you for enquiring about exclusive use of the Escoffier Restaurant for your event.

The Escoffier Restaurant is situated in the heart of Victoria in the leafy are of Vincent Square. The Escoffier is in the oldest part of the College building and boasts of having the oldest culinary school in the country since 1910. From an idea by Auguste Escoffier, Cesar Ritz (Ritz Dynasty), they pitched their idea to Baroness Coutts. So impressed was Baroness Coutts that she gave them a generous donation of land where the dream was realised, and the school was built.

The Escoffier is only available to rent for dinner on any Tuesday or Wednesday during term time.

The maximum guests are 30 and the room is set up of five tables of six. The menu will be made up from the current theme and will consist of a welcoming glass of Cremant or soft drink and a canape reception in our adjacent bar.

Timings

• 17.30 to 18.15: Canape Reception
• 18.15 to 18.30: Called through for dinner
• 18.30 to 19.00: Speeches and Introductions
• 19.00 to 21.00: Dinner is served
• 21.00 to 21.15: Guest Depart

Costings 

The cost to include: 

• Sparkling and Canape Reception served in the bar area. 
• Four course current themed menu 
• Tea- Coffee & Pettit Fours. 
• Room Hire and Operational costs. 
• VAT at the current rate 

Total cost is £2000, which includes the £500 Operational & Confirmation Costs. 

There is no individual price, guest price or reduction should guests number fall. 

What the price does not include: 

• Wines, Sprits, Beers with dinner or in the Canape Reception 
• We do not offer corkage or allow own wines, spirits, beers to   be brought into the college, as all monies made goes straight into the Culinary Arts 3-year Programme and used for training needs for the students. 
• Designated reception area of the bar from 17:30 pm until 18:15pm 

To make a Reservation

A £500 deposit is required to secure the reservation, and will be refundable four weeks prior to the event. 

A separate credit card payment sheet will be sent out directly and we will hold the reservation for 72 hours until the deposit is received after which the date will be released.
